Meet Tyler

Tyler Stirling was born in Stamford CT in 1993 to Eileen and Scott Stirling. From an early age he was drawn to the television set often watching The Pagemaster on repeat until someone took it away from him. In high school he produced one movie for a film class and the dream of making more never left his mind.

Tyler graduated college from Salve Regina University with a degree in Psychology, and was accepted into grad school at Sacred Heart University’s Film and Television Program (FTMA). While in film school Tyler earned a multitude of credits in a variety of positions from 1st AC to 1st AD, even acting in several of his cohort’s films. Most notably, he was selected as the director of the first ever Open SHUtter film, highlighting the talents of Sacred Heart’s Theatre and SCMA departments. That film went on to win awards at multiple local festivals.

Currently Tyler works as an in-demand freelance editor for various NY based production companies and has created videos for brands like Greenies, Pay Pal, Boardroom, Cache7 and Chevy. He also continues to work for Sacred Heart University, editing festival-bound faculty short films.
